I travel often and have stayed at many high-end hotels, including in Dubai and at the Four Seasons in China. The service and hospitality I’ve received at the Fairmont Istanbul rank among the best anywhere in the world. I’m in the middle of a two-week stay and will absolutely return in May for longer, largely because of the people here. Three people have made a particular impression since my first morning in the dining commons: Tanju, Baran, and Burcu. Baran hosts my table each morning with real warmth and attention. He checks in, remembers what I like, chats pleasantly, and makes thoughtful suggestions. One morning he brought me a special crêpe to try, a lovely personal touch. Tanju, the restaurant manager, leads with care and presence. He introduced me to a house-made juice that he recommended, and it was an easy 10 out of 10 for flavor and presentation. He regularly checks that everything is right and makes sure I have what I need. Burcu greets me each morning with a smile and good energy that sets the tone for the day. She welcomes me in and sometimes offers a ginger shot or complimentary tea as I leave. Her hospitality feels both refined and heartfelt. Michael, Adam, and Tiffany also embody the energy, skill, and pride that make an organization stand out. Please pass along my thanks to all of them. They’ve made the trip even more memorable, and the staff are a big reason I plan to return in May.

The 21st-floor view was amazing, and the room was beautiful with a really comfortable bed. Service was thoughtful throughout, especially from Ramazan, who went out of his way to help. Breakfast was good, though a few items were cold. There’s a lot of traffic around the hotel, and the last kilometer took us the longest. The Wi-Fi could be faster.

The rooms, suites, and serviced apartments I’ve stayed in have all been outstanding, with layouts that feel carefully thought through. The staff are remarkable, and the service goes beyond what any rating can capture. The location is central and close to everything. My first stay was in 2017, right when Fairmont was opening. I attended the launch and got to experience the hotel from the start, and it was already operating at a very high level. Since then, whenever I come to Istanbul, Fairmont is my first choice. Now in 2026, that hasn’t changed. I’m especially grateful to Mr. Ethem, who’s always reachable and makes sure every detail is handled to a high standard. It’s rare to see a hotel keep up its hospitality and service quality for more than nine years. ❤️😍

We really enjoyed our two nights here. The breakfast was wonderful, and the rooms were modern, clean, and nice to stay in. Everyone treated us with care and a smile, from the person who checked us in to our bellboy, Murat Budut. He was especially helpful and accommodating, and clearly takes real pride in his work. He’s a gem for the hotel. We had a great stay at Fairmont Quasar and I recommend it.
