The shower was the main problem for me. It looked unhygienic, though the toilet and sink seemed alright. Breakfast was a big disappointment too: plastic wrapped, store bought bread rolls, fake honey and olives, bitter black tea, and low quality cheese. I didn’t try the salami. You can eat indoors or in the small backyard, which has a calming grape leaf roof. The room itself seemed just okay to sleep in, with decent looking beds, working air conditioning, and a view of the backyard that wasn’t blocked by another building.

I’d strongly tell people to avoid this hotel. It’s the worst one I’ve stayed at in Istanbul. Other hotels cost even less and have better, cleaner rooms and toilets.

For what it costs, this is a great hotel. It’s quiet, and the people are friendly and keen to help. It’s a family run place that’s been going for 45 years.
