Senior Pera Suites

This is a simple hotel, not a 5-star place, so there’s no swimming pool, room service, or glittering chandeliers. But for the price, cleanliness, and location, I don’t think you can find a better place. My room was tidy, comfortable, and really clean. The beddings were immaculate, and the toilet was pristine. I was surprised and very satisfied, especially after two other Istanbul hotels where rooms weren’t clean, there was an unpleasant smell, and some beddings were dirty. The prices are really good, too. The personnel are fantastic and so nice. If something goes wrong, they’ll help as hard as they can. They’re truly good and dedicated. Trust me and the other reviewers, 5 stars at the time of writing. You’ll definitely enjoy your stay in Senior Pera Suites.

I only planned to stay for 4 days, but liked it so much I added another week. The alley is quiet, and the view from my room was lovely: quaint rooftops with seagulls and cats running across them. I spent a lot of time on the tiny balcony just looking at it. The windows of other buildings don’t overlook the side where I stayed, so I could enjoy the scenery without anyone seeing me. It’s close to Taxim square, in a safe area, and the staff are very nice and accommodating. There’s a 24/7 shop in the alley for snacks on the way home, and the alley is lit and has people around, which made it feel very safe. I’d gladly come back and 100% recommend it.

I booked 3 nights over the New year back in October, at $40 per night. In December, the owner asked me to cancel and book again at $90 per night. He acted very unprofessionally and literally kicked us out of his apartment so he could rent it to someone else at 3x the price. A very unpleasant experience with the owner.

The location is magnificent, the place is clean and beautiful, and the staff are so friendly. They even gave us a gift on year! When I lost my phone outside, the staff helped me find it outside the hotel and get it back. I’m so glad I chose senior pera. Thank you so much ❤
