The location is a real plus, and I appreciated having an open kitchen that anyone could use. For the price, Taksim Alya Suites is pretty good, even with the steep stairs and decor that feels a bit "meh." But my stay was made very unpleasant by the staff member working there. He was rude, unfriendly, unhelpful, and inflexible. That’s the sole reason I’m giving one star.

The location is quite good, but it doesn’t make up for the price. There was a strong spicy-food smell from the entrance all the way to the rooms, and the showerheads were broken, with other general issues in the bathrooms. Communication with reception was also a problem.

This is my second time staying here, and I’d happily come back for several days in Istanbul. The rooms were clean and roomy enough, and the internet was fast. The location is perfect, and I especially want to thank the staff for always being so polite and helpful. Thanks a lot ❤️❤️❤️

Mr. Anmol was especially helpful and polite, and we really appreciated his help during our stay. The hotel is clean and just a five-minute walk from Taksim Square. We liked being able to use the shared kitchen too, which saved us money since fast food in Istanbul is very expensive. Good value for money, and I highly recommend it.

Great for backpackers, with Taksim just a three-minute walk away and everything close by. I had a top-floor room with balconies on both sides. Vicki the host is a lovely guy, friendly and very helpful, and I felt safe here. I’ve checked in and stayed, and would definitely recommend this ideal Istanbul spot.
