Taksim Antique Hotel

The location is absolutely perfect for walking to Taksim Square, shopping streets, great food, and even the water. It’s a good budget stay with the basics, though the room was fairly plain and a little cramped, especially the bathroom. Some things need maintenance: pictures were falling down and the furniture felt rickety. It wasn’t very quiet either. The wooden stairs carry footsteps loudly, and we could hear people walking on the floor above. Once, maintenance in the room overhead started quite early. There’s also a mosque up the road, so the call to prayer was loud early in the morning and late at night. Good basic accommodation in a perfect spot, just be aware of those things.

Brother Suphi was caring and so helpful. This is the best place to stay at Taksim Square, and I’ll definitely come back when I visit Istanbul again.

Mr Suphi was so kind, thank you so much. The room was very comfortable, and the location beside the mosque was convenient. I had a really comfortable three days here ❣️

The staff were sweet and caring, and the room was bigger than I expected. I also loved the apartment-style layout. It may not be the most luxurious hotel, but for the price and how close it is to Taksim Square, it was fantastic.
