For tourists on a budget, I’d strongly recommend this place. I’ve travelled to Turkey often and stayed in plenty of hotels and suites, and this is one of the best places I’ve found for visitors to Istanbul. The rooms have been renovated and are spacious. The place is very clean, and it comes with the essential kitchen utensils for preparing and serving meals. Free toiletries and water are provided too. The location is extremely convenient, about 400 meters on foot from Havaist, the airport shuttle in Istanbul, and within walking distance of Taksim Square and Sisli. Buses and metro stations are only a couple of minutes away, with restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The alley where the hotel is located feels very safe at night. The owner and his sons are super kind and helpful, speak English, and are always willing to help guests.

We had a great stay at Ruby suites Taksim and would definitely come back next time we’re in Istanbul. It’s clean and affordable, with local amenities and public transport close by. The owners are kind and helpful, and go out of their way to make you comfortable in their residence.

The reception staff couldn’t speak a word of English, so I used translators to explain that I wanted to cancel my booking. I’d reserved 12 nights, but changed my mind as soon as I saw the dirty, old room. They said they had to charge me for the first night, and I accepted that. Then they came into my room in the middle of the night for no reason I could understand. A few days later, they charged the full amount to my card without telling me. Worst experience of my life.

A great place for a family stay or a business trip. The location is ideal, the staff are very good, and the rates are affordable and negotiable. All facilities are available here.

Sadiq is a very good, polite, humble, and caring person. Turkmen is also very good.
