Thank You Hotel Sultanahmet

My room was right behind reception, so it didn’t feel very private. The door also let through a lot of sound, and I could clearly hear what was happening outside. I understand they’re making use of the space, but the first-floor rooms could use better soundproofing. The room itself was very clean, with a comfortable bed and pillow. The interior was nice and the staff were kind. It was a bit small, though acceptable, and I still had a good stay.

We spent 6 nights here and really enjoyed the stay. The suite was quiet, well soundproofed, clean, and comfortable. We chose it for two people because we had four pieces of luggage. If you pack a lot of clothes, bring extra hangers. The Wi-Fi sometimes disconnected around midnight, but staff fixed things quickly. Sultanahmet Square is just a few minutes away on foot, so the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia are easy to visit both day and night. The T1 tram stop is a 6 minute walk, and there’s a reasonably priced bazaar two blocks away. The area is touristy, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and supermarkets open late. Breakfast was really good, and we miss it. It runs from 8 to 11 am, which felt later than I’m used to. The staff were all so nice and helpful, and handled every issue like it was their own. I never got the night shift gentleman’s name, but his help and constant smile really made our stay.

The location made sightseeing so easy, with most major attractions only a 3-minute walk away. Breakfast is included, a nice extra since food in this area costs less than on the Asian and European sides. We’d usually have a light breakfast here before heading out. The building is newly built, so everything is clean and well maintained. The room was small but thoughtfully designed and fully equipped. For the price, it was more than we expected. Great value, cleanliness, and location. Highly recommended.

On our first trip to Istanbul, we spent 4 nights at Thank You hotel and had a great time. Check-in was smooth with no wait; the staff had recognized us as soon as we entered the lobby and were ready to welcome us. Everyone was friendly, efficient, and accommodating. They gave us advice about where to go and suggested places to visit, and housekeeping was always on time. I’d highly recommend it for families travelling with kids.
