During our two-week stay at the hotel in Üsküdar, the cleaning staff, Hamza, and Keyavich at the lobby desk were outstanding. They were respectful, helpful, and seemed to care about their work and guests. Hamza also responded quickly and professionally when I badly cut my toe, bringing bandages. Unfortunately, after the bleeding continued and we called back, a female front-desk employee said there were no bandages. When I asked in the main lobby where the nearest pharmacy was, staff directed me to one that had already been closed for over two hours, even though they could have checked. The front desk had been indifferent on the phone when we reported that Room 205 smelled strongly and persistently of cigarette smoke. On arrival, we weren't greeted warmly or even with a basic smile. An employee from the massage and Turkish bath area was also extremely rude when we politely asked for directions. She rolled her eyes, looked down on us, and acted dismissively. The location is exceptional and has great potential, but repeated rudeness and lack of empathy from some front-of-house staff hurt the experience and could damage the hotel's reputation. I'm sharing this with the owners sincerely, not out of anger. Service culture, accountability, and training need attention if the hotel wants to compete at a higher standard. I hope the feedback is taken seriously, and would welcome acknowledgment.

The view over the Bosphorus was the one good thing about the room. The hotel didn't look like its photos, and the property felt outdated. The bed had visible stains, which was unacceptable. Service was disappointing too. Reception staff lacked professionalism, courtesy, and basic hospitality. Because our flight was delayed, we politely asked to stay a little longer since we had nowhere to be until 2 PM. They refused abruptly and kept calling to remind us to leave. When we asked for just 20 more minutes to finish packing, they ended the call on us. The stay didn't meet the standard we expected.

The view was amazing, and the location is handy for the ferry and bus stops. But getting to the lobby means climbing a flight of steps, which was inconvenient with luggage, and the hotel didn't help. Staff didn't offer to carry our bags to the room either. Water cost extra when we asked for it. Their English was poor, and they couldn't understand even a basic question about the Wi-Fi username. At the lobby, we waited too long. The front desk woman had no manners, didn't greet or smile, seemed unhappy throughout, and wouldn't answer clearly. It was the same woman at checkout. The mattress was uncomfortable and the sink was clogged. We don't recommend this hotel.

Guzel at reception acted like we owed her a living, and most of the staff weren't friendly or helpful. The walk to the room was long. This hotel isn't worth it, and I wouldn't recommend it.

The view was great, but everything else was really bad. Smoke smell was everywhere, spreading between rooms and into the lobby. I'm allergic to smoke, and it was so bad I couldn't wait to leave. I'd booked a deluxe room, but was told it wasn't available when I arrived. The room they gave me smelled terrible, and the smoke kept me suffering all night. They changed rooms the next day, but the toilet there was broken and didn't work properly. This morning there was no water at all. I don't recommend the hotel and can't wait to get out.
