The Green Park Pendik Hotel & Convention Center Hotel

The view is lovely, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. Getting here is handy too, about 15 minutes by car from the airport. But the room stayed at 27 degrees all night, which was awful. The hotel also felt stuffy throughout. Breakfast was the other letdown, since the vegetables, cheese, and other items didn't look fresh and weren't up to a good standard.

The room was spacious and nice, but the heat was unbearable. We stayed in November and were still far too warm because the air conditioning only blew hot air. The phone for calling reception or any other number didn't work either.

I came to meet my aunt and had no internet, so I asked the blonde-haired receptionist to call her room. She coldly said they didn't offer that service, even though it only meant pressing a button. I then asked if she could at least turn on the Wi-Fi for me, and she wouldn't do that either. She was the laziest and least helpful person I've met. I don't understand why someone like that was hired. This hotel is a disaster, and the staff seem to know nothing about hospitality or front desk work. I run a travel agency and recommend hotels around Istanbul, but I would never recommend such a disrespectful place.

The iron was another problem. I needed one the next morning before going out, but was told none would be available until 6 PM. They only offered paid ironing service. When I arrived, I asked for help getting four suitcases up to my room on the fourth floor. The staff said no one was free and I'd have to wait 20 minutes, so I carried them myself. This kind of service is unacceptable for a hotel that calls itself five-star.
