We were disappointed that the hotel wouldn’t provide breakfast for my wife and me as the booking information appeared to promise. When we booked through Agoda, it showed breakfast as $0. I took a photo of that, and another showing that breakfast would cost 5 Turkish lira if it wasn’t included. The receptionist said the hotel wasn’t responsible for the information and wasn’t an Agoda partner. Then the manager charged us 15 euros per day for breakfast for two instead of 5 Turkish lira.

This is a cheap hotel, so don’t expect much from the service. There’s a really good gym that guests can use for free, and the staff are friendly. You may be able to bargain if you’re willing to pay a month upfront. I’d book without breakfast, since there are local restaurants nearby if you want to eat.

The service was really good, and the staff kept looking after me, but the food and rooms weren’t up to standard. I also found mould in the bathroom and ants in my room, and the building doesn’t feel like a 4 star hotel. I might have given it three stars, but the whole building lost power for several hours on my check-out day. I had to carry my luggage down 8 flights of stairs to leave for the airport. Would I recommend it? No.

There was no bread at breakfast, and the sauna and steam room didn’t work for two days because of what staff called a fuse problem. The personnel were rude and knew little about the hotel or the surrounding area. I wouldn’t recommend this amateur hotel to anyone.

I’m sorry to give one star, but this was the worst hotel I’ve seen in Istanbul in my whole life. I’m shocked they couldn’t provide proper service, and there was nothing special for kids either. If anyone asks whether it’s a good place to visit or stay, I’d tell them to check out other hotels.
