Windsor Hotel & Convention Centre Istanbul

We stayed here at both the start and end of our tour. The neighborhood seemed quiet in the evenings, which is useful in a busy city like Istanbul. The staff were consistently professional and responsive, and the amenities were always available. We only ate at Queen's Restaurant for breakfast, and there was always a good selection of fresh food. I don’t know Istanbul very well yet, but the Windsor struck me as a dependable place to stay. There’s also a great sunset view toward the Bosphorus from the top-floor restaurant. If you need to, ask the staff to let you open a window for a look.

The breakfast buffet had a good range of choices, though it would be nice to have a few more vegan items clearly labeled. What really stood out during my stay at the Windsor Hotel was the staff. Everyone I met was polite, friendly, and sincerely helpful. I had a fantastic time in Istanbul and would recommend staying here. I’d love to return.

The main sights, including Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque, are quite far away, though public transport makes them easy to reach. Our basic room on the second floor was a little small, but we didn’t mind. We were unlucky enough to face an industrial park, though we actually found it interesting to see another side of Istanbul. There’s a huge, well-equipped gym, and the pool and spa are really nice. The hotel is beautifully designed and has lots of services, including a gym, spa, pool, and bar. The staff are very friendly. Adem, for example, patiently taught us a little Turkish. We can definitely recommend the hotel, as long as you keep in mind that the main attractions aren’t within walking distance and industrial buildings are nearby.

The food was delicious, and housekeeping kept our room in great shape. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Guest relations were especially great when helping us with plans and bookings despite some difficulty with language translation. I highly recommend this hotel.
