We paid £500 for a week all inclusive with flights, which felt reasonable, so I can't complain much about the price. Still, we left after just one night out of seven. Our room was on the ground floor, facing dirt, and felt damp. The toilet clearly hadn't been cleaned, with hair and poop still there, and the windows and doors were so dirty it was hard to see through them. The pool itself was clean when we visited, despite the dirty pool photos I'd seen. But the chairs around it were covered in dirt and mud, and looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. I couldn't relax sitting there. On arrival, we were handed a room key with no greeting or other information. The only staff member who spoke with us was a rep asking whether we wanted an excursion, which left us feeling out of place. The location wasn't great either, and I think the attached nightclub has a lot to do with the experience. It is a shame, because it looks like someone once invested in the place. Better cleaning and maintenance could make it much nicer, but the damp rooms aren't ideal for anyone who is already unwell.

The food was fresh and tasty, with a small but decent choice of home-cooked dishes. That still doesn't make up for the rest, and I wouldn't recommend this as a four-star stay. I was there for four days in September 2025, and it bore little resemblance to its holiday-platform promotion. The pool area needed serious attention, with dry leaves, cigarette butts and coffee-stained loungers. The bar was dusty and old, hygiene throughout was appalling, and staff came across as unprofessional. Our room felt more like a two-star motel: the shower door was rusty, towels were worn, stained and musty, the balcony furniture was peeling, and there were no satellite channels on the TV. Wi-Fi worked unreliably, only when it felt like it. The boat trip and Hammam offers promoted by the agency are worth watching out for, as prices were much higher, double what local bazaar agencies charged.

We booked three rooms at Dionisus Hotel Belek through Love Holidays under references LOV11497695U and LOV11497621U. We arrived expecting a family break, but found the place far below the advertised standard. On 6 August we had to find somewhere else, and after visiting three hotels we checked into SARP Otel. The change, including transport, cost us another £2,290. We felt we had no choice if we wanted to salvage the holiday for our children. There was no porter to help with our 12 pieces of luggage. All three rooms were dirty. One had no working air conditioning; after our first complaint we got a small fan, and only after insisting again were we moved. That replacement room had a broken toilet seat on the floor. The dining room was packed, hot, and full of flies, with too few tables and very poor food. Breakfast was unappetising and inedible, and seemed to be leftovers from the night before. The hotel also would not provide milk for our small child, and did not feel child-friendly. What was listed online did not match what we found: the site said there were two outdoor pools and one indoor pool, but we saw one overcrowded pool, and there was only one restaurant. The shared area had no air conditioning and was unusable, with stray cats everywhere. Music outside our rooms went on until 11pm and disturbed our children, including our 2-year-old. A nearby nightclub played extremely loudly from midnight to around 4am. We all woke with headaches and exhaustion. When we raised the conditions and noise with reception, we were told, “You can leave, but if you stay another night, you will be charged.” We felt unwelcome and unsupported. We have since seen more recent reviews describing similar experiences, so this does not seem isolated. We are extremely disappointed by the listing's misrepresentation and the lack of basic standards and help during our stay. Given the inconvenience, health risks, extra expense and distress, we request a full refund for our stay at Dionisus Hotel Belek and ask that the property be reviewed for removal from Love Holidays listings so other customers do not have the same experience.

Ali, the night porter, was the one good thing here. He showed care and professionalism and did as much as he could. He deserves better than this place. The pool was green and filthy, with screws sticking out around its edges, and the grounds were generally untidy. There was even a hole in the roof, and I saw children using the bushes as toilets. Guests were checking out every day after seeing how bad it was, and I understand why. Food was awful and there was no care for dietary needs. When I raised that, I was brushed off and told it wasn't their problem, which felt discriminatory. Drinks were just as bad: beer was the only real option, and the supposed cocktail menu meant red or blue. There were no in-room safes, and the hotel connected directly to a nightclub open until 4am. The people there seemed dodgy and openly preyed on hotel guests, so I felt unsafe throughout. After checkout, guests were told to leave luggage unattended in the lobby. I couldn't face another night and ended up on a friend's nearby couch. This was meant to be a holiday, but it was a nightmare. Think twice before booking; this hotel shouldn't be allowed to operate.

The rooms were tiny and filthy, and mine was beside the nightclub. Music blasted until 4am, and although they'd turn it down when I complained, it was back up half an hour later. I got no sleep. The pool water was green and dirty, so nobody used it, and the kids' pool had rusty screws and gaps. Wi-Fi was useless, the food was nasty with very little choice, and there was no entertainment. The garden photo shows where the stage was, but the only show was the nightclub from 11pm to 4am. It was mostly staff in there, plus a couple of drunks coming back from town at 1am. Staff were anti-British and useless, just ignoring you. I understand they don't speak English, but when I used Google Translate they'd look, smile, then walk away, so I guess they couldn't read or write either. Complaints went nowhere. All inclusive was only available at set times, with no daytime snacks, and they'd run out of booze by 9pm. What was served was so watered down it had no effect, unless you were Russian, who got a better vodka they wouldn't give anyone else. Outside those hours a bottle of cheap lager cost £5. There are far better ways to spend your money. It's nowhere near four-star, and you couldn't find a worse hotel in a ghetto. Local shops charged three times the price at the main supermarket we found, and twice what Nelek charged. A taxi to Belek cost £10 for the 5 to 8 minute ride, but it was worth it because food and drink there cost less than at the rip-off shops and bars nearby. Do not go, you'll regret it.
