Enda Boutique-hotel

Good price that I found on Google Maps. Nice dog and owner, breakfast included, and a swimming pool.

I wish we could have stayed longer. It was so peaceful that on our first day we slept from 7 p.m. until morning. There were no cars or motorcycles, just the calm escape from hectic Istanbul that we needed. We arrived at a very clean hotel with a pool and a sea view. It sits a bit high up, so there are some stairs to climb. Our room was spacious, clean and superb, with air conditioning and a TV, though no fridge. Only the sea view rooms have one. The owners seem to be a lovely family, and you can tell it’s a well cared for family business. Breakfast is brought to you with tea or coffee. I feel lucky to have found the place while looking for somewhere in Kalkan. I’d booked the wrong dates by mistake, but when I called, they suggested I contact the booking site to try changing them and said they’d still help us if we couldn’t change the reservation. Highly recommend it.

We paid £64 for one night. We got a bed and a working shower, and the rest was pretty awful. The hotel is run down and ugly, the pool wasn’t usable, and paint was peeling off the walls and furniture. Forget the pictures. We were only there one night, so, que sera.

We stayed at Enda hotel for 10 nights and loved it. The owners are fantastic hosts who will do whatever they can to help. The bed was fabulous, breakfast amazing and pool great. It’s close to the centre of Kalkan but just far enough out to be much quieter, so we slept really well. I was surprised to see other reviewers mark the hotel down because the air conditioning is switched off while they’re out. With energy prices so high and the environment under pressure, I think that’s a good thing. We’d book Enda hotel again without hesitation. All and family, thanks so much for your hospitality.
