Kalkan Saray Suites

We stayed in room 122, with a mountain view, and the sunrise came over the mountains straight into the room. The room and balcony were spacious, the bed very comfortable, and the large shower room had two sinks and a mirror covering the wall. They cleaned every day, and the staff were hospitable and helpful. Breakfast had lots of choices and was amazing. The hotel is near the center, has parking and a private pool, and THE ONE restaurant is the best ☝️

We only wish we'd had another night, since one wasn't enough. The staff were warm, kind, and helpful from start to finish. Dinner at the restaurant was amazing, and breakfast was just as lovely. Special thanks to Seda and everyone who welcomed us with such friendly hospitality and great service. One of our sweetest stays.

Two weeks after getting home, I still get a bad case of holiday blues whenever I try to write this. We booked ten nights in a garden suite with a private pool at Saray Suites Hotel, and wish we were still there. Even before arrival, Çagri made everything easy, confirming our late check-in and sharing trip information, then booking trips for us. We arrived very late to find the local shops closed, and he kindly brought us some snacks. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and fully air conditioned. The pool area was just right, with spots to sunbathe, sit in the shade, or lounge in the water. It gave us a villa feel within a small boutique hotel. Breakfast was included, fresh and tasty, and we loved the omelette service. The whole team was friendly and accommodating. Seda gave us a warm welcome and helped us out, Orhan and the breakfast team made mornings pleasant, and Joe was hospitable and had good dinner menu suggestions. Thanks as well to the rest of the front of house and kitchen teams. We ate at the restaurant several times, having two lunches and two dinners, and went to the Turkish evening too. The food was delicious, the menu varied, and we kept coming back for a reason. Saray Suites is a little outside Kalkan's center, so it's quieter. The town is hilly, but the route to and from the center is a gradual slope and didn't feel too taxing, even in the evening heat. The hotel also suggested Yali beach club. The path there is steeper, with rough tracks, so we walked it in stages. It was worth the effort, or a taxi: comfortable loungers, food and drinks, and easy access to the beautiful sea. Some areas could use a little repair if you look closely, but the place has real charm and the team go above and beyond to make your stay a success. We'll definitely return, and we're grateful for such a lovely stay.
