Don't stay here. The staff were extremely rude and the villas below average. There was nothing in the villa, not even toilet paper or other basics. When we arrived, we had to wait 20 minutes on the highway for someone to pick us up. Check-in was unpleasant, as was check-out, and every interaction with staff was rude. He accused us of taking a TV remote from one bedroom, even though we'd never used that TV. Then he tried to blame us for a broken garden pot, but fortunately the gardener was there to say it wasn't us. At checkout, I said several times that we were rushing to catch our flight, but he kept us waiting another 30 minutes and threatened not to return our deposit over the mysterious remote.

The owner was rude from start to finish and managed to spoil the vacation. The house is old, the doors don't shut properly, and there are spider webs throughout the rooms. It didn't even have basic things like a toilet roll or trash bag. He also wasn't clear about what would be checked when we handed over the keys. In the end, he accused us of taking a TV remote that we hadn't even noticed was there. This was definitely not a unique vacation experience.

Don't stay here. The owner was rude from the start and gave us the impression he hates his guests. On arrival, although we'd agreed on a check-in time, he kept us waiting half an hour. When we finally checked in, he told our group of adult professional couples that our appearance made him feel he had to warn us against having sex parties in the house. That wasn't our plan, and the way he put it was offensive. At checkout we made clear we needed to get to the airport and leave on time. He was half an hour late for the appointment, then tried to keep our deposit, saying we'd stolen a TV remote. Who would steal a TV remote? He also claimed another TV didn't work until I pointed out its remote had no batteries, and never had. I got the impression he was trying to delay us until we'd have to leave without the deposit. Luckily, after our slow check-in we'd allowed buffer time, and didn't give in. He eventually returned the money after shouting at my friend for five minutes. As we drove away, he also accused us of breaking a pot, but the gardener said we hadn't, so we left. I disagree with the reviewer who called this a “dream” place, unless your dream is a home that looks nice in pictures but has a rude owner who insults you during check-in and checkout and maybe tries to scam you.

It's a beautiful, amazing place with lovely views all around. It feels private and secure, and I think it's a dream spot. Our house is wooden, with one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and five-bedroom options.
