Step outside and you’re straight onto the public beach, while the women’s beach is around a 5-10 minute walk away. The hotel is right in the center, and the location is fantastic. Our triple room looked directly out at the beach. Breakfast was good and more than sufficient. Rooms are cleaned when guests check out, and extra cleaning is available for a small fee of 20 TL. Highly recommended.

We barely made it through one night. The sheets were old and stained, and the rooms didn’t even have a hairdryer or anywhere to dry swimsuits and towels. Before they’d even shown us the room, they kept insisting on payment in a way that made us want to cancel our stay. The woman at reception by the entrance was unbelievably rude and ignorant. A very mediocre place, absolutely not somewhere I’d want to stay.

I haven’t stayed upstairs, though I did have a look around. It’s a standard, charming boutique hotel for the area, with a good view. Downstairs is a restaurant, right by Kerpe’s main coastal boulevard in the lovely town in Kocaeli. Mr. Ataman is a warm, welcoming gentleman who treats guests like family, which feels rare these days. He doesn’t charge extra for complimentary items, gives spot-on fish recommendations, and keeps prices very reasonable. Whenever I visit, the fish is fresh and cooked deliciously. Visitors won’t regret choosing this restaurant and hotel.

The rooms have a magnificent view of the sea, and the staff member was attentive enough. We went in without expecting much, so the cleanliness and service were adequate. The beds weren’t especially comfortable, though they did the job for a short stay. The restaurant is a little expensive.
