Nergis Hotel

Ugh.

The sea was the highlight for me. I’d never swum in water that looked so clear and full of life, almost like an aquarium, and it brought the Maldives to mind. We could enjoy the beautiful view from every floor. The rooms, hotel, and shared spaces were spotless, and both breakfast and dinner were delicious. The management was wonderful, especially Özlem Hanım and Senem Hanım, the mother and daughter who run the place. They were warm and attentive, which made a real difference. After a long time, our girls’ trip finally happened in such a perfect setting. I could only capture some of the many details in photos, but we were already planning our next visit before the holiday was over. It was my best getaway in years 🤍

I loved swimming in the big bay on my own. Anyone who enjoys being in the sea should give this place a try. The water is deep, and reaching it from the rooms means going down quite a lot of stairs. I understand the owner makes sure to warn people about that, which felt honest and showed real concern for guest satisfaction. My friends and I were already talking about when to return as soon as we got in the car after our two-day break. The rooms are carefully designed, very clean, and face the sea. Falling asleep to the waves, then waking to the changing sunrise colors and reflections on the water, was lovely. The mother-and-daughter owners were often around in the shared space. The staff were friendly and helpful, and all the food was tasty. Breakfast had plenty of choices, especially the pastries, and the appetizers, including the sautéed greens, were standouts. I’ll come back this summer whenever I can.

Being away from the city's rush for the whole day felt like therapy for my soul. The little treats, thoughtful presentation, and sincere service made the stay feel special, beyond the view itself. Tucked into a bay and surrounded by nature, it’s a peaceful place for anyone who wants quiet and a chance to breathe. I loved watching the sea from my room, drifting off to the sound of the waves, and waking up in that calm. 🌿🌊✨🤍
