Kars-i Sirin Hotel

We found the staff friendly and the location good, but our non-smoking room still smelled of smoke. The carpets were badly stained and the bathroom could use some upkeep. I can't compare it with other Kars hotels, but to me the price felt a little high for the quality.

The front desk staff were nice, and the sheets were clean. The room had a fridge, powdered coffee with paper cups, and a TV, but there was hair in the shower, stains in the corners, and a broken shower head. The hallway carpet was dirty, and the internet was very slow. Despite the room being described as soundproof, we could clearly hear city traffic and music from cafes. It's pretty bare bones and could use a good facelift.

Right in the heart of the old town, this hotel has clean, spacious rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was well prepared, with plenty of different foods to choose from. Strongly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay at Kars-i-sirin hotel. The owner, Huccet, was friendly and even upgraded my family and me for free: we'd booked three standard double rooms and got a family room with a king bed and a single bed. The staff were helpful, and the beds were comfortable with a heater that worked fine. The toilet was clean and nice, just a little small. Breakfast didn't have many options, but what was served was fresh and delicious. It's a cozy boutique hotel downtown, close to shops, markets, and cafes, and Kars castle is an 8-10 minute walk away. The only hassle if you drive is parking, since it's just street parking.
