Motali Life Hotel

We visited several places near the hotel and left really pleased with our first stay. I slept well after we arrived, and breakfast came with a lovely view of Sapanca Lake. The rooms were clean, the food was excellent, and the staff were thoughtful and helpful. A very nice place to unwind. Thank you.

The rooms are spacious enough and clean, but the internet was very slow. Breakfast was poor.

I felt unsafe and disrespected throughout our stay. The staff kept watching me and my family, which made us feel the opposite of safe. The broken non-electronic locks on all the rooms we were given made me want to block the door, since I thought they might have access. There was also a device facing my bed that seemed to have no clear purpose, and I found myself checking whether anything pointed toward the bed was a camera. The air conditioner was leaking, causing discomfort and a hazard. When we raised it, the staff said, “it's not my problem.” Their lack of effort left us dealing with one problem after another, and they were rude as well. This was one of the worst hotel experiences of my life. The pool was the only thing that felt worth the money, and I'm sure there are better, cheaper pools elsewhere.

The food had bugs in it, and the manager seemed to pay no attention to the obvious problems or the safety hazards for guests. The staff seemed more focused on their little parties than those issues. The owner was loud and childish, and they held parties at night, which was extremely annoying. Service was awful, and the staff were dreadful to deal with and unprofessional. When the air conditioner in our room didn't work, they blamed us and said, “it isn't our problem.” They first refused to move us, claiming there was no space even though the hotel didn't seem to have many guests. Once we agreed to pay, a suite suddenly became available. An extremely pathetic hotel, by far my worst experience.
