Carpediem Apart

The walk to and from the city center was unsafe, especially with my parents. The hotel is on the outskirts at the highest point in town, and the slope is around 65 degrees. I slipped several times. The staff didn’t speak English, and it took three requests to get an iron. During our week there, they never changed the towels or bed linen, and the room wasn’t cleaned once. We were given just one key for several people at check-in. The staff weren’t customer oriented, and a large stray dog lay outside our door every day. The sofa in the living room was covered in stains.

We spent a month in the apartment and had the best experience of our trip in Turkey. It was very clean, new, well managed, and had everything we needed. The view was amazing and the surroundings are beautiful. It’s only a few minutes from the center, but the hill on the way makes having a car a good idea. Highly recommend.

The bay view was the highlight, and they can bring breakfast to your balcony so you can enjoy it while looking out. We stayed two nights and had the best experience of our Turkey trip. The apartment was clean and the rooms were new. It had a kitchen with dishes and cutlery, plus a washing machine, fridge, dishwasher, really everything you need. It’s run by a married couple.

The view from the balcony was breathtaking, and the host kindly gave us three apartments next to each other. The apartments exceeded the high expectations we had from the photos. They were clean, had fairly new equipment, and included everything we needed, from a fridge and washing machine to a dishwasher. We could usually find a parking spot at the property. It’s not too far from the center of Kas, about a 15-minute walk going there. Coming back uphill might be hard if you’re tired, so a taxi for around 3 EUR could be a better choice. The WiFi was quite poor, though it didn’t matter much to us with that view. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you visit Kas.
