Carruba Boutique Hotel

We loved our nearly week-long stay at Boutiquehotel Carruba. The family hosts were genuinely warm and welcoming, and everything was well run. Our room was spotless and beautifully styled, and breakfast was delicious. A charming boutique hotel, highly recommended.

Ipek even showed us two rooms with different mattress firmness when we arrived, and the choice made a real difference. Sleeping well is my top priority when traveling, and she’s thought of that, with a range of mattresses and even different kinds of pillows. Genius. Our room also had a stunning view and was clean and quiet, with lots of designer charm. Tuba made a delicious breakfast and was so attentive, she made it feel special. Ipek also recommended Hikaye, where both the food and the view were gorgeous. This is a superb hotel.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the Carruba Boutique Hotel in August 2025. The staff were brilliant. The hotel was clean, modern, charming and nicely decorated, and our spacious room had a lovely balcony. We could walk to Kaş town in about 10 minutes and to Little Pebble Beach in about the same time. We also found lots of other beautiful beaches very easily from there. The pool was clean and relaxing to sit by, and the free breakfast each morning had plenty of variety and gave us a little taste of Turkish breakfast.

We booked two nights in a luxury "Bohemian Room,” expecting a relaxing, high-end stay based on the way the hotel and rooms are presented. The building looks well maintained and tastefully designed, but the experience fell well short, especially for the price. The room was described as having a “sea and pool view,” but ours was on the first floor and looked mostly at the back of another building, with only a sliver of sea visible. When we asked about it, we were told that only the upper-floor rooms have the real view, though they’re all sold under the same label. That felt misleading and left us feeling taken advantage of. There was also almost no bathroom privacy. The toilet was fully visible from the bed, with only a partial decorative wall between them. No door, no sound insulation, no real visual separation. That’s not appropriate for a room marketed as luxury, and it made the stay uncomfortable and intrusive. The nearby mosque’s 5 a.m. call to prayer was unavoidably loud, even with the windows shut. We respect the cultural context, but guests should be told about this before booking. It affected our rest and left us feeling blindsided. The hotel may be charming, but that doesn’t make up for the lack of basic comfort or the sense that key details were hidden or misrepresented.
