Gorge Club Saklikent - Campsite

The cottage was cosy and clean, just right for what we needed. The location beside the gorge and river is incredible. I spent until 10pm sitting by the river, just watching the sky. The family looking after the place were so welcoming. It was one of my favourite places from our time in Turkey, and I’d absolutely stay again. Thank you!

The young staff were friendly, and we enjoyed the rafting, but we got less than 20 minutes on the water. We had booked the 45-minute option, though that time apparently includes the rafting and the trip back to the start, which is 3kms. You can stop at the mud bath on the way back. That wasn’t made clear when it was sold to us, and I was disappointed by the lack of transparency. We probably would have gone ahead anyway if they’d explained it honestly. There’s no need for that kind of deceit.

The food was delicious, and this is the best place in the area. The owner kept trying to make sure we were happy and comfortable. Even after the restaurant had closed for the night, he arranged for someone to prepare food for us.

There are lots of fun activities, and the view is amazing. The people were so friendly, and the food was great too.
