Habesos Hotel

We arrived during the Eid holiday, when most hotels were full, and the Habesos staff welcomed us warmly at reception and made us feel right at home. I recently stayed there, and honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences I've had.

We got moved from the first room we'd booked to, I think, the best one in the hotel, the middle room on the fourth floor with a sea view. The view was amazing, and the owner was kind, professional, and very attentive. Thanks for the upgrade. The hotel is close to the center, bars, and restaurants, but still quiet at night. You can walk to the minibus station and otogar in 10 minutes or less. The rooms are small, though, and the walls are thin enough that every door opening or closing sounds like it's yours. Some guests were also noisy coming and going. The pool and open buffet breakfast were great, like a resort breakfast, and the clearly homemade cake was remarkable. Rooms have AC and a mini fridge, but the AC in our first room cooled better than the one in the second. I highly recommend this hotel for a stay in KAŞ.

The location is handy, with the beach cafe a two-minute walk away and the central square about three minutes away. Kaş is a beautiful city, and the staff were kind and always tried to help. The pool looked great. The hotel is older than the photos suggest, though. The AC sounded like an old truck, and sometimes we woke up just to turn it off. The water temperature was unpredictable, so you never knew what sort of shower you'd get.

The location is great, but the reception and hallways smelled of cigarette smoke. The room was very hot, and the pillows made me feel irritated and overheated too. I didn't try breakfast.
