The mosque nearby may wake you in the morning. I booked the room in person without warning, and the one I got was the last available, probably the cheapest room in the pension, so I can’t give it five stars. Still, the location, staff, breakfast, and price are all good reasons to stay here. Special mention to the owner, Süleyman, who was gentle and professional.

We booked a room for the last weekend of August 2021 after calling around Kaş. The quoted price for three people started at ₺450, then became ₺600, with a supposed ₺100 discount. The room was cramped, the beds left us waking up unrested, and the broken toilet flush was never fixed despite several reports. Getting there was less convenient than they suggested: it takes a 5-7 minute uphill walk or a climb up a large flight of stairs. Breakfast was okay, though being watched while eating made me anxious. The hot water was barely warm, and the internet was slow and only worked on the roof, which was a problem for me while working remotely. On our final night we needed a room for one person. Suleyman had promised ₺200, but changed that to ₺300 that morning. When we tried to explain why that felt unethical, he raised his voice and told us to leave his “hotel.” We found Pinar pension, which first took my luggage, then called five minutes later to say it couldn't accept me. We came to understand that Suleyman had apparently called them and asked them not to take us. It left us thinking he was manipulative and a bad person. We'd chosen Kaş for a lovely weekend, but this experience ruined it. I'm never coming back and can't recommend this place.

The terrace breakfast came with lovely views of the mountains and town, and the staff were great. Suleiman was especially hospitable and always willing to help. The rooms were comfortable, with good beds, wardrobes, and working air conditioning. Hot water did run out sometimes, though in summer that wasn't a big deal for us. The location worked well too: Migros and the best pide in Kas are nearby, the bus station and city center are about five minutes away, and the beach is a ten-minute walk. I'd recommend it.

Suleyman made sure we had the kind of stay we wanted. He arranged tours for us and helped with advice and directions for other things to do. We loved the comfy beds, the shared terrace with its incredible views, and a breakfast that was hard to beat. My favorite place in Antalya.
