Lacitrus Villa Hotel

İbrahim and Özlem were such warm, kind hosts, and their welcoming place made our long trip to Kaş feel special. The garden has pepper, olive, and pomegranate trees, as well as lavender. Inside, the decorations are charming and thoughtfully arranged.

I was very happy with my two days at the villa. It was quiet and peaceful, and my room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Ibo and his wife were incredibly hospitable and made the place feel welcoming. Breakfast was tasty and healthy. I highly recommend the villa.

You’ll need a car here. The property is basically two houses in the middle of nowhere, about 5 km from Kas, so getting around without one would be difficult. The listing on booking.com shows a pool, but only after booking a non-refundable rate did the owner message to say the pool was for villa guests only. In other words, there was no pool for us. This is advertised as a hotel, but it’s really a house with four or five rooms. The owners don’t live there, and there’s no staff except at breakfast. There’s no bar or dining service, and rooms and towels aren’t cleaned or changed unless you specifically ask. It should be listed as a room, not a hotel. Our bedroom was small, clean, and basic, with no kettle, coffee, or toiletries. The towels were thin and small. It felt like the owner was providing as little as possible. Breakfast was a basic Turkish spread, and the only coffee was 3-in-1 sachets. We asked for an extra sheet at breakfast. The next day, while we were out, I politely messaged the owner on WhatsApp to remind him to leave one when the room was cleaned. He replied that they don’t clean unless you ask. The texts continued, and when he told us to check out that day if we didn’t like it, we did. He gave us a refund, but the attitude was strange for an owner-operator. We found a lovely place nearby at a very similar price and stayed there for the rest of our time in Kas.

We had three lovely days here as a family, and our daughters especially loved breakfast. Özlem and İbrahim run the place with their children and gave us that warm Turkish hospitality. It’s peaceful and away from the bustle, yet only 5 km from Kaş centre and its lovely swimming beaches. Many thanks, and we hope to come back soon.
