The beds were in such poor shape that the floor would have been a better place to sleep. The building is very old and smells strongly. The bathroom is covered in mold, and the balcony doors stay half open even though they have mosquito nets.
A huge dog barks at the door day and night, disrupting my sleep. The bed linens and doors were very dirty, with trash and leaves around.
The location is nice and the price affordable, but the hostel is old and the toilets are unusable. We stayed one night for 800 TL per night, two adults and one child. Don’t expect much at that price.
The guesthouse is centrally located, within walking distance of Patara’s market, with a grocery store 50 meters away and restaurants starting right next to it. It’s the closest guesthouse to the sea in Patara. We drove to the beach, but walking takes about half an hour, past the ruins of the ancient city of Patara. If you’re planning regular beach visits, a Museum Card makes the most sense, since you can explore nearby areas without paying separately for each beach entry. This is a good choice if you want affordable accommodation and a friendly, welcoming place rather than luxury. The owner, Ali abi, was extremely warm and welcoming. Thank you to him.
I wouldn’t recommend this place, even if you’re just planning to sleep after traveling all day. The sheets were dirty, the flush was broken, there was no hot water or toilet paper, and the double room had just one towel. Think 3-4 times before booking. Really poor value for money. Don’t go.
