Medis Vilları

I regretted booking this place. It’s high up in the mountains with nothing nearby, and the dogs bark constantly while some kind of loudspeaker makes noise. The infrastructure is old and battered, and things are broken. Hot water barely came through, and it didn’t reach the Jacuzzi, despite the owners promising it would heat up. We couldn’t check in until 17 because the previous tenants left late. I was also charged an extra 500 lira for cleaning, which wasn’t included in the later check, so I had to pay it. What was that supposed to mean? It’s completely unacceptable, doesn’t match the price at all, and there are unclear fees on top of everything.

Medis Villas was a lovely choice for a peaceful, enjoyable holiday. Our villa was comfortable, in great condition, and spotless, and everything matched the photos exactly. We were very pleased with the stay and appreciated the attention and hospitality. We’d consider coming back.

The house was filthy, with insects everywhere, and the pool was dirty and clearly not cleaned regularly. Some items were missing or broken, and the dishwasher was leaking electricity, which put us at risk of a shock. There was only one bathroom and toilet, the en-suite in the bedroom, and its all-glass design offered no privacy. Water kept leaking from it, and when we said the room was getting wet, we were told to wipe it with a cloth. The Wi-Fi showed as connected but there was no internet, and the satellite TV didn’t work properly either. It was a terrible experience, and I definitely wouldn’t recommend it.

We only stayed one night, but it was a negative experience. The ventilation was awful, the rooms hadn’t been cleaned properly, and opening the wardrobe brought an indescribable stench. The plates were dirty, so we had to wash them before reusing them. There was no hot water, and we waited two hours to shower after being told to wait. Even after two calls, they couldn’t fix it. We were told there was enough water for the jacuzzi, but I think it’s just for decoration. I don’t usually post about bad experiences, but I had to this time.
