Patara Gate Boutique Hotel

Lovely staff, a very nice location, and a really fair price.

At night, the rocky hills around this magical place look amazing under the stars, and there are so many birds, friendly dogs, and chickens that you really feel close to nature. Gate Hotel sits at the beginning of Patara, and Emine, her family, and her team were incredibly hospitable. Thank you all, with all my heart! There are several ways to stay here: the hotel has 20 rooms with lovely-view balconies, there are stationary caravans opening onto a huge garden full of flowers and many kinds of trees, and you can bring your own caravan or tent. There's also a kitchen, outdoor toilets and showers, and a restaurant serving fresh vegetables, fruit, daily eggs, jams, and other things, all homemade by the mother. Patara beach and the historic sites are five minutes away by car, or you can walk the beautiful ancient path.

We were hiking in February and came across this place by chance in the evening. The campsite was probably still closed for the off-season, but the owner gave us an incredibly warm welcome, along with her dogs, and let us pitch our tents for the night. I can't say anything about the rooms, but her kindness and hospitality really impressed us. We felt at home. Thank you so much!
