Radisson Blu Hotel, Kas (Adult Only 12+)

The worst part of our stay was the General Manager, Adil. He was rude and aggressive, and didn't apologize when we reported a serious insect problem. Instead, he blamed us for not raising it sooner and said, "This is the middle of a forest." We had booked two rooms. In ours, more than 20 ants were swarming over the sofa and our luggage, and I was bitten on the hand, leaving red marks. There were also jumping bugs on the bed, our friends' room was full of flies, and the hot water ran out entirely after one person showered. We have photos and videos documenting the bugs, bites, and poor conditions in both rooms. The service and lack of hygiene were unacceptable. Adil's unprofessional management is a disgrace to the Radisson Blu brand. Don't trust the 4.7-star rating. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

The ants turned into a major problem on the morning of May 12. When I reached into my backpack, they bit me. A swarm had spread from the sofa into our luggage and belongings, so we had to spend a long time checking and cleaning everything before we could continue our trip. There were small jumping insects on the bed too, and friends staying with us found flies in their room. We also lost all hot water after just one person showered. That's not acceptable for a hotel presented as a luxury property. Management made things worse. When we told the General Manager, Adil, he was dismissive and rude. He kept saying, “This is the middle of a forest,” and blamed us for not reporting the infestation earlier. We'd only found it after waking up and unpacking. We took photos and videos of the ants, insects, and room conditions. We chose Radisson Blu expecting proper hotel standards and professional service. Instead, we got excuses for the bugs. This was one of our most disappointing stays in Turkey, especially given the hotel's reputation and rating. It wasn't remotely worth the price.

Watching the sunset by the pool, with those beautiful views, was a highlight. I liked the stylish but relaxed feel, the stone architecture, and thoughtful details like the coffee machine in the room. The wine selection was impressive too, and it was lovely to have a glass overlooking the pool. The room was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and attentive without hovering. A charming, peaceful place to unwind with a little understated luxury.

Our travel plans for the day were thrown off completely. We spent more than two hours dealing with the problems, and lost a whole day of our trip. We were four people with two rooms at Radisson Blu Hotel in Kaş on May 12. In the first room we found 4-5 flies. We told the staff, but trying to catch them didn't solve it, so they moved us to another room. Before bed, we found an insect there too. It was very late and we took care of it ourselves, so we didn't report it then. The next day, my friend found lots of small ants on the sofa in the other room, with even more inside a backpack left there. We had to unpack, inspect each item one by one, and remove the ants ourselves. All three rooms we entered had insect problems. We took photos and videos, and the hygiene fell far below what we'd expect of a five-star hotel with a 4.7 Google rating. The manager, Adil, was extremely rude and kept interrupting us. We weren't asking for compensation or making unreasonable demands. We just wanted a proper response and basic professionalism, but there was no apology or sincere effort to handle it respectfully. This was one of the worst hotel stays we've had, especially given the hotel's reputation.
