The Nix Hotel Patara Beach

I was very disappointed with my holiday at this hotel in Turkey last year. I booked a stay with breakfast and dinner so I wouldn't have to make food decisions during my trip. Even that wasn't something I could rely on. I couldn't count on the meal times or the quality, and half the plates were dirty. I hope the hotel has improved this year, because this part of Turkey is beautiful and quiet.

We enjoyed our stay despite some of the reviews. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was nice and decent. They were very attentive. It felt a little strange that we seemed to be the only guests, but it turned into a pleasant experience. The hotel could use a few fixes here and there, though we visited at the start of the season. We'd still recommend it.

We're staying at the Nix Hotel Patara Beach right now and having a lovely time. The pool is fantastic, and the food is delicious. Our room is spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff are kind, friendly, and incredibly attentive, nothing is too much trouble. Evenings can get a bit loud with the music, but the atmosphere is lovely otherwise. It's a great base for exploring the area.

I chose this hotel because of the water park, but it wasn't working. We were given just one room key and told to come back in a few hours. Then it was another hour, another day, and another few hours. When I asked to speak to the senior manager, they made me a card in 30 seconds. Our room was cleaned only once during the whole week, and the pool wasn't cleaned at all while we were there, except on the day we arrived. Water was dripping from the ceiling in my friends' room. The food was okay, but the same every day. I'm not sure the five-star reviews are genuine, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
