Fimaj Residence needs refurbishment and honest staff, especially people who can speak English. Nobody there could speak English, and we felt they treated people from other nationalities in a racist way. It seemed like Turkish guests had one price, the real one, while we were charged differently. A large bottle of water, for example, cost us 40 lira when the market price was 15. They also charged us three or four times the actual cost for electricity and water. The place and everything in it was old and damaged when we arrived. The bathroom and kitchen sink were blocked, the air conditioning didn’t work, and the chairs were very dirty. The bedrooms were unclean too, and the sheets were damaged. We stayed nearly two months, but nobody came to clean, even after we offered to pay extra for it. We’d asked about these facilities when signing the agreement, and they promised them, but later none of that service was provided. The new employee Rehan seemed unsure what she was doing and spent her time on the phone. Her personal friends regularly visited her at work, which made us uncomfortable. I found her racist and unprofessional.

Not trustworthy. We reserved three apartments two months ahead and contacted them again a week before arrival to confirm. They then said there were no rooms and that we weren’t registered at all. We even showed screenshots of the original conversation, but all they said was, “Sorry, there are no places left.” Awful service.

Getting here was easy, with the tram just a three-to-five-minute walk away and buses passing often. We stayed two nights to ski at Mt. Erciyes, and the facilities were great. The kitchen had all the utensils and other things we needed, and the customer service was very polite and friendly. Some people might find a few spots a little dusty or not quite clean, but it didn’t bother me. I could clean those places myself, or maybe you could ask room service to take care of them. I had a really good stay and would recommend it.

I always feel comfortable and safe here. The view is good, the facilities are great, and there’s a beautiful garden. A gym was set up during quarantine. The subcategory and reception behavior is great, and everyone is nice and well behaved.

It’s a lovely residence for a good price, and it stays clean and warm. Whenever cleaning was needed, it was done perfectly. I’m only taking off a star because the internet is slow. Hopefully that gets sorted out soon.
