The food was a bright spot. There was plenty of choice, including fresh fish, and the chicken was cooked well, though it was served daily. The place was very cheap, and despite everything, we still had a great time and met some fantastic people. There were serious problems with cleanliness and upkeep. The pool itself was never cleaned, cigarette ends were left around the pool area, and the loungers were falling apart. Our room was dusty and dirty, with poor repairs everywhere, a toilet that wouldn’t flush, and paper-thin walls. The bar regularly ran out of glasses at lunch and dinner, and twice ran out of all alcohol. There weren’t enough seats, and knives ran out multiple times. A foul smell often came from the bar area too. The staff were okay, mostly young lads who didn’t speak English or Russian, and they’d loiter in the way and block paths. I saw one lad clean the restaurant and lounge floors each day, but it left the whole floor dangerously slippery, like an ice rink.

Women, stay away from this place! I came from the United States to Turkey on vacation with my girlfriend, and the experience at this hotel was extremely negative. A waiter started flirting with her. At first I took it as friendly attention, but it escalated into inappropriate advances, and he tried to drug her by putting something in her drinks and water. That is completely unacceptable and a serious threat to guest safety. It was alarming that a hotel employee felt entitled to behave that way. I reported the incident right away to the relevant hotel authorities, who need to take immediate action against this misconduct. I’m sharing this to warn other people about the potential danger here. Hotels need to protect their guests’ safety and well-being, and this one failed to do so. I can’t recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, enjoyable vacation.

The bar wasn’t great, and with no uniforms except for the kitchen staff, we couldn’t tell who was working and who was a guest. We were told an upgrade would cost 30 euro, then, after making our way up dangerous marble stairs with no lighting or lift, we were shown a tiny room and another that was only a little bigger. I did get upgraded, but the balcony view was dirty steel tubing leaning over it, so I couldn’t sit outside. There were also staff washing hanging out and dog and cat kennels.

I’ve just checked out, and I’m deeply disappointed by the food, room cleanliness, and the hotel’s overall appeal to European tourists. The food repeated all week. On the Turkish national holiday they gave us cake, which was the only fun part. Some sauces had hairs in them, and after seeing that I couldn’t eat more. The scenery was fine, but the boys working there disrupted our attempts to relax by yelling or walking around with pool floaties and banging them on the floor. Every evening there was a DJ during dinner, and the music was so loud we could barely hear each other. Russians made up about 95% of the hotel, and they were the only guests treated very nicely. If you didn’t speak Russian or Turkish, it was barely possible to communicate with the staff. We weren’t given the room we’d been promised. For the next five days we had to stay in a filthy room of about two square meters, with dirt on the floor that was never wiped up. The shower drains were clogged, the water pressure was poor, and the sheets were dirty. Staff seemed to change them, but they only rearranged the dirty sheets and other bedding to hide the grime, which was still visible. We eventually got another room for the last two nights. It looked tidier, but there was a cockroach in it. I won’t ever return, and I don’t recommend it.

The food was the same each day, and I’m sick of chicken. The all-inclusive drinks were wine, vodka, gin, or lager. A couple of the young lads on staff were nice. The room was diabolical. The fridge barely worked and was disgusting, and the shower swung between freezing cold and water hot enough to cause third-degree burns. We asked to move rooms and were told it would cost £30 in cash, no card. On the fourth day, we filled our water bottles from the machine and found maggots in the water, which we’d been drinking all week. This all-inclusive hotel is the worst I’ve ever stayed in. Never again. From now on, I’ll always read the reviews first.
