Dobedan World Palace

The animation team gave our stay great energy and made sure there was never a dull moment. Mert was always smiling and bringing people in with his warm, upbeat manner. Emrah, the animation chief, ran everything professionally, and the team was clearly well coordinated under him. Altuğ came up with fun games and shows, while Mehmet was always around to chat, dance, or make us laugh. Arda’s creative performances during the shows were impressive. Julia added an international touch and was elegant, kind, helpful, and sweet. Alina was a warm presence, always dancing, smiling, and checking that guests were having a good time. Huge thanks to the whole team for all the fun and memories. I had an amazing stay.

We really enjoyed our holiday at Dobedan World Palace. The hotel is beautiful and very clean, and the teams at the beach, restaurant, pool, and housekeeping were fantastic, always kind and helpful. Reception was the one letdown. The welcome and checkout felt a bit cold, and they just handed us a leaflet without explaining the services or where to find the facilities. On our last day they blocked our room card before checkout time, which was inconvenient. Everything else was great.

The rooms were cozy and good, and the hotel has amazing views and a great location, literally 100 meters from the sea. The staff seemed a little rude. In the main lobby area near the 24-hour bar, they turn off half the electricity and the air conditioning after 12. We told reception, but nothing was done.

We’ve stayed at Dobedan World Palace four times, but after our recent visits we don’t plan to return. In 2024, we saw a kitchen staff member repeatedly walking around the outdoor area in the dark at night, looking into guests’ room windows and spending a long time watching one couple. We filmed it and showed the video to management and security. We never got a clear explanation of what action they took. The only response was that he’d been “spoken to.” They strongly advised us to delete the video and warned the employee could take legal action over the filming. That felt more like protecting the hotel’s reputation than making sure guests were safe. We kept the video private, as it was only meant to help identify the employee. We decided to return in 2025 because the earlier visits had been very good, and we wanted to see whether the hotel had improved its handling of the issue. For safety reasons, we asked not to be placed in Block 3 again. We weren’t asking for an upgrade, but were told we could only avoid that building by paying extra for a renovated room. When we arrived, we learned that building 4, which is unrenovated and in the same category as our booking, could have met the request at no extra cost. That option was never offered. During this stay, we were very disappointed to see the same staff member walking back and forth past our windows in daytime, bringing back the unpleasant memory. This isn’t the level of safety, professionalism, or guest loyalty we expect from a family-oriented hotel. Sadly, we won’t return.
