The hotel looks good from the outside, but inside it seems past its glory days. It isn’t accessible for people with disabilities, and there are no dietary options such as gluten-free, vegetarian or vegan food. Our travel agent had said gluten-free food was available, but staff seemed surprised when we arrived. Communication was difficult because most staff spoke only Turkish and Russian, with just two people knowing a few words of English. The food was average, often bland, and lunch and dinner were often the same. The pool loungers were always taken by towels, despite reception saying staff would collect them after three hours. The rooms were low standard but cleaned regularly. Renovations had apparently been done in 2023, but seemed rushed or unfinished: some stains, possibly from leaks, had just been painted over, and bits like the moldings were falling off. The seaside bar was the one good spot. The bartenders were friendly and generous with the alcohol. The hotel and area seemed mainly geared toward Russian guests, who seemed to get more leeway. Security only warned them when they were too loud after midnight, and they complained even then. After we checked out at noon, the manager “invited” us to her office and asked whether there was food in the room. It turned out to be a misunderstanding and wasn’t about our room, but we were still questioned. It was hard to understand because she spoke only Russian. For a hotel described as four or five stars, the standards didn’t match, especially at that price.

There were 11 of us, and we had a really positive stay. The hotel was spotless, the food fantastic with something for everyone, and all the staff worked hard and were dedicated. The 24-hour bar and lobby bar had polite, friendly servers, and the made-to-order flatbread at the Breeze Bar snack bar was very tasty. Mr Celal, the hotel manager, couldn’t do enough for guests. It’s a beautiful hotel in a lovely location, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Many thanks to the team.

A drone filming guests on the water attractions flew into me while I was relaxing on the hotel pier. It was moving fast. I covered myself with my hands, but still got cuts and a bruise. The operator just said, “It happens,” and sent me to the “first aid point.” There didn’t seem to be real medical staff there. They couldn’t find antiseptic and weren’t wearing gloves. I told reception, but nobody responded until I contacted my tour guide. Only then did the hotel manager come by, apologize, and say they’d check whether the drone operator had a valid certificate. I’m very disappointed by how carelessly the hotel handled guest safety. A drone isn’t a toy and could have seriously hurt someone, especially a child. This shouldn’t happen at a hotel of this level.

The location is great, with a lovely pool and trees around the hotel. With a little care, it could be a good hotel. But loud music played by the pool all day, and there was nowhere to get away from it and rest. The bar was slow, so drinks took a long time. The table tennis rackets were old and sticky, and could easily be replaced; the gym was also very old, with some broken machines. They serve drinking water in very small bottles, which means a lot of waste each day.
