Kara Family Apart

The owner speaks English and German fluently, is friendly, and is always available if you have questions. He also makes amazing coffee. I really recommend this apart hotel! My room was spacious enough, clean, and had everything I needed, including forks, a knife, and a pan. The photos on Booking matched what I found in the room. The street is quiet, so there’s no annoying disco music, but it’s still only about a five- to seven-minute walk to the sea. If you’re driving, there’s lots of free parking around the apartment.

The price was reasonable for what we got, so three points feels fair. We stayed in early October 2019, and on rainy, cloudy days there was no hot water because the solar batteries weren't getting enough sun. The building, furnishings, and repairs inside are all old. Cleaning wasn't regular: we had to ask for the room to be cleaned, the rubbish to be taken out, and the towels changed. The beach is about a 15-20 minute walk away.

The rooms feel new, look spotless, and smell fresh. The service is great, and it honestly feels like staying in a second home. Best place to stay in Kemer, really.

It's a two-star hotel, but the service felt like five stars. Everything I asked for was taken care of. I haven't had that kind of experience in Turkey before ;-)
