Velmore Hotel & Spa

This is supposed to be a 4-star hotel, but the Wi-Fi never connected for me. There’s a network listed, but it just doesn’t work. I booked because I needed to work and wish I’d seen the other reviews that mentioned this. Unbelievable.

The hotel feels old and needs renovation. The toilet was clean, and the toiletries were clean too.

Really bad experience. There are too many tourists for just one lift, and it only fits three people. The Wi-Fi wouldn’t connect, and the phone in the room seemed to be there as a decoration because it didn’t work at all.

Breakfast was badly handled, with food running out and nobody around to refill basics like the milk for coffee. Dinner was just as disappointing: bland, poorly presented, and seemed to have no care put into it. We were traveling with a tour group, and if the hotel can’t keep meal quality up to the agreed standard, it should rethink offering meals. From arrival onward, the service let us down. Nobody helped with our luggage, so we had to drag it ourselves to the room. The staff were inattentive throughout, and the lack of basic courtesy made the whole stay frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort or good service.
