Malibu Resort Hotel

We knew when choosing Malibu that the hotel needed renovation, and the food was simple, nothing special. What shocked me was how little the room was cleaned during our 8-day stay. It was serviced just once, and I only realized because my wife spotted streaks on the floor. Trash left in the middle of the room was still there. Nobody took the trash out at all, and towels were never changed despite my asking every morning. The toilet was leaking when we checked in. A maintenance worker came, but left the entire bathroom messy and the foot towel dirty. It stayed that way for all eight days. I’ve traveled a lot around India, and hotel rooms there would deserve five stars for cleanliness compared with this place, even with the dirt on the streets. If living in a pigsty is fine with you, Malibu is the place.

Malibu hotel is well worth the money. I expected very little from a 3-star place and was pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was fresh and tasty. There isn’t a huge selection, but it’s simple, good home-style cooking that you and your kids will probably enjoy. The rooms are older, though they were clean. The sea isn’t very close, so keep that in mind. Thanks, Malibu hotel!

For a cheap last-minute break where I needed to get some laptop work done, this hotel suited me perfectly. There was WiFi in the room and a place to work. The food was good, if not the widest selection, and at that price I thought it was at least good value. For what I paid, it deserves five stars.

The animation team was great and always put on a good party, and the snacks and food were really good too. Staff across reception, waiting, and the bars were friendly and decent, and helped straight away whenever we needed anything. We had a great time at Malibu hotel. The rooms were nice and very clean. Simply amazing, I’d recommend it to everyone and will be back. Thanks for everything.
