Fair Hotel

I ended up paying 2,000 TL for one night because it was late and I didn’t want to hunt for another hotel or risk getting overcharged by a taxi. The room was clean and tidy, but the experience felt unprofessional. I’d booked about 48 hours earlier and came straight from Istanbul Airport by taxi, expecting the reservation to be fine. At first the receptionist was polite. After seeing my passport, he told me the booking had been cancelled and said they’d notified me, though I hadn’t received any message. I was exhausted and upset, and when I said I’d go elsewhere, he claimed there was nothing he could do. As I was leaving, he suddenly offered a room for almost twice the Booking.com price, saying it would be 2,200 TL. I said I only had 2,000 TL, and he accepted that.

The room had a lovely panoramic view of the road towards the district center, and it was a nice place to sit and take it in. We also felt comfortable and secure there. The room was clean, comfortable, and had what we needed, including a safe, air conditioning, TV, and phone. The hotel looks modest at first, but the staff were exceptionally kind and helpful. There was a Russian-speaking specialist from Turkmenistan, another brotherly nation, which made talking with the staff feel especially warm. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We’d come back and recommend it.

There was no chance to rest with all the noise from the highway. The ventilation was poor, the smell of smoke was everywhere, and the service in general wasn’t good.

Naif gives guests excellent care, and the hotel was clean and well looked after. It’s also an easy walk to Biruni Hospital. A wonderful place, highly recommended! Abdirizak - Minneapolis MN USA
