It’s a bit of a walk to the sea, but I actually enjoyed it because I like walking among greenery. We had such a warm, family-like stay, and my mother especially loved it. We planned on five days, yet it took me ten days to get her to come home! The guesthouse owners are very sweet, and their daughter is wonderful and so respectful. I highly recommend it. I don’t think I could take my mother anywhere else. I miss her so much.

We went as four families, each with two children, and they worked out a sensible price for the kids instead of charging the adult rate. They didn’t make bargaining difficult, either, and offered a fair price themselves. We were very happy with the stay, and I’d recommend it to families or young people. They can also provide a hair dryer if you ask, though there aren’t any in the rooms. The bungalows are clean and have air conditioning, a shower, and a sink. Usually there’s one double bed and two singles, but no TV or room refrigerator. You can use the hotel’s fridge and freezer, which came in handy for freezing water and ice packs for our boat trip the next day. Drinks cost extra, but a small bottle of water, a 1-liter bottle, and two fizzy drinks weren’t overpriced. They don’t sell alcohol, though some guests brought their own. Dinner and breakfast are included. The food is home-style, with limited variety, including breakfast, so don’t expect a 5-star hotel spread. Service was excellent and the conversation was great. There are places to sit and chat outdoors, and the evenings are cool enough that you don’t sweat. We didn’t have mosquitoes, though there were flies sometimes. And just to be clear, this isn’t a 5-star hotel.

We stumbled on this place by chance, and it turned out to be much quieter and prettier than it seemed from outside. It’s family-run and feels better suited to families. The clean, adequate rooms have air conditioning, hot water, and internet. Breakfast and dinner aren’t especially varied, but both are tasty. There’s also a nice shared area where you can sit and relax. I’d stay here again.

You feel right at home here, so it’s a great fit for families. Hatice Hanım makes delicious meals, and there’s unlimited tea. The whole experience brings to mind traditional architecture and the genuinely kind local people.
