Base Bungalows

I could happily have stayed longer than my two nights. This place is an oasis, with a lovely atmosphere, comfortable clean rooms, and open areas tucked under greenery where I enjoyed reading and relaxing. The restaurant was so good that we ate every meal there. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor, with lots of vegetarian and vegan choices. The rib burger, eggplant parmigiana, tofu bowl, and salmon bowl were all amazing. I’d come back in a heartbeat.

The friendly, attentive service and relaxed vibe made this one of the better places around here. I stopped in for breakfast and really liked the farmer’s omelette, 220 Lyra, and the double espresso, 120 Lyra. Both were great, and the prices were surprisingly good for such tasty food. I’m planning to come back for dinner tonight.

The nights here were our favorite, with good music, lovely people, and a lot of fun. The kitchen turned out tasty food, and everyone was so sweet and helpful. Base has an amazing vibe. We loved it and can’t wait to return!

We had a really enjoyable eight-day stay. The shared area was easy to make your own, whether you wanted to eat, have a drink, dance, or just relax, and even on the hottest summer days the tables had outdoor air conditioners over them. The staff were always there with a smile and a friendly chat, and they speak English, so communication was easy. They were helpful whenever we needed something. Our bed-and-breakfast rate was mid-range, neither especially cheap nor expensive. Breakfast was generous, and there were also delicious items on the menu, including vegan and vegetarian choices. Other meals weren't included in what we paid, so we usually ordered from that menu. The bungalows are clean and well designed, with air conditioning. Sheets and towels are provided, and you can ask for fresh ones. It's animal-friendly, too, so you can bring your animal friends. We really enjoyed being here. 🏳️‍🌈 ❤️
