The food really stood out for me. It was homemade with organic ingredients, full of flavor, and honestly the best I’ve had in Turkey. There are fruit trees, a shady vineyard and sweet vintage details around the grounds. Everything was clean, there’s a pool to relax by, and cocktails are available. If you don’t have a car, they can drive you to the sea, about 10 minutes away, and collect you later. On weekends, live music gives the place a nice atmosphere. We stayed at Köy evi in August 2025 and felt comfortable and looked after, almost like family. The owners are kind, welcoming and modern, and you can see the care in the garden, interior and the way they treat guests. The rooms have a rustic style, with an air conditioner as the only modern touch. It feels a bit like being at your Turkish grandmother’s house, where there’s always affection and something tasty on offer. The sheets and towels aren’t changed daily, but laundry is available whenever you need it, which was fine for us. It’s a place where your soul can rest, and we’d love to return.

Our stay was short but lovely, and I hope we make it back someday. We’d just finished four days on a party boat with friends and this family-run oasis was just what we needed to recover. We were squeezed by our flight and had to leave in the middle of the night, so I only wish we could have stayed longer. Huge thanks to Sevgi, who went above and beyond to call Turkish airlines and help sort out the mess we were in. We couldn’t have managed it without you. One of the men also made sure we got onto our transfer at 1am. And that home-cooked Turkish meal was one of the best I’ve ever had.

The rooms are basic but clean, and it’s a five-minute drive followed by a ten-minute walk to the pebble beach. This rustic, beautiful hotel gave our family of two adults and two small kids exactly what we wanted from Turkey: authentic food, nature, real people, and time at the beach and pool, plus more. It’s run by a family and seems to welcome mostly local tourists. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner are served buffet-style and tasted great, without a wasteful spread. It felt more like we were guests at a family gathering. The place is a welcome change from modern mass tourism like you see in Alanya or Side. If you want hotel comfort without that kind of tourism, this place is for you.

It’s not a fancy, high-end property, but it was exactly right for the quiet, relaxing night we needed. The room was clean and quaint, and the whole place felt wonderfully chill. Dinner was freshly cooked and served as a well-organized family-style buffet. Those chicken wings were the best we had in Turkey, maybe even better than the ones we’ve had in America. The food was the best meal I had during my 10 days in Turkey.
