I’ve been to Turkey six times, and never stayed in a hotel this bad. The mountain views and pool are the only good things. The food was awful and tasteless, with no variety. At the snack bar, all you can expect is a bun with a patty and sometimes fries. The alcohol at the bar came from suspicious bottles, smelled like acetone, and was undrinkable. We got ice cream only twice in six days. The “pastry shop” was just a few plastic plates of tasteless cookies and buns. Getting to the beach meant queuing 30 minutes in advance. Coming back, you were better off leaving at 11:30, because by 12:30 it was overcrowded and there weren’t enough seats. Nobody seemed to understand queues, so it was a free-for-all. The beach was filthy, with broken sunbeds and cigarette butts everywhere. There was dirt around the hotel, especially by the pool. Our room was cleaned only twice in six nights, and both times the effort was minimal: the floor was streaky and sticky, the bathroom wasn’t cleaned, and our towels were taken without replacements. This place is awful and I’ll never return. It’s a disgrace for a hotel with a five-star rating.

The worst part happened at 23:13 one night: while we were asleep, a worker opened our room door by himself, came in, and stood there. When we asked what he was doing, he said they were looking for something in every room. It felt dodgy, like they might be trying to rob us. We were hungry all the time and counted the days until we could leave. Please don’t trust the photos or waste your money here. This is not a five-star Ultra All Inclusive hotel. The food was awful and there wasn’t enough for everyone who stayed. Miss opening time and the line is too long. There’s no 24/7 bar with snacks and drinks. “Finished” and “Whiskey” seemed to be their favorite words. Milk and some drinks ran out, which shouldn’t happen at this kind of resort. The snack areas closed, leaving only an outdoor place to eat with bees flying around. They closed the beach transfer for a day without telling anyone, leaving more than 15 people waiting. The transfer to the nearest city costs 100€. We waited four days for the four coffee machines to be refilled so we could get hot chocolate. On our last day they said it would take five minutes, but even after an hour and a half there was still nothing. Staff didn’t seem to care that used plates kept piling up in the plants by the rooms. Every day we went to reception, other guests were constantly complaining about poor service. The hotel’s beach seats were broken, and it seemed nobody from the hotel had checked whether they needed replacing. There were no activities and nothing nearby. You’re left there. Our room was dirty, with shampoo packets left by previous guests, plus towels and bedsheets with yellow stains. The pool loungers were barely attached at the legs, and it felt like they might break whenever touched. Communication was a problem: staff assumed that if you didn’t speak Turkish, you must know Russian.

The scenery is stunning, but the hotel itself fell far short of expectations. Food, cleanliness, and service were all seriously poor, nowhere close to a five-star stay. At best, I’d give it two stars. There were constant shortages and queues at the food stations, and things weren’t replenished promptly. We kept hearing there was no milk, cocoa, lemons, or syrup, and kids went hungry. Even basic fries weren’t always available. The “ultra all-inclusive” label didn’t match the experience: you had to go around asking for everything and still might not get it. Live cooking was badly organized, coffee machines were dirty and never cleaned, and there were no snacks for guests arriving late at night. Our room smelled bad and was dirty the first night. We had to ask each day for towels or cleaning; nothing happened automatically. Management seemed uninterested, the manager walked around without doing anything, and staff weren’t coordinated. If you needed something, you had to search bar by bar instead of staff communicating and sorting it out. There were hardly any activities, although the remote mountain location makes entertainment especially important for children. Adults had little to do as well, with no proper shows. The signature cocktails shown on social media were just for show. The views are gorgeous and the hotel has potential, but it needs major improvements throughout. I don’t recommend it.

We stayed in Premier Villa number 707, which had a fully equipped kitchen, lounge, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a private pool. The resort is in a nice location. Turn off the main road at the Adrasan junction, follow the road to the sign, then drive down a good road, not the dirt track someone mentioned. I’m English and have lived and worked in Antalya for 23 years. My Turkish wife and our two children have stayed at many hotels in the region, some good and some bad, and this resort definitely isn’t one of the bad ones. Most guests were Turkish, with some Russian-speaking guests, so the food was mostly Turkish. Breakfast had plenty of choice, as did lunch and dinner. Anyone saying there was nothing to eat must be among the pickiest eaters around. They ran out of drinks such as cola a few times, and the beer pumps stopped working so beer came in cans, but that was a small inconvenience. There are two main pools, one for families and one for guests aged 16 and over. Both were a good size and very clean. The evening entertainment was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. At breakfast and lunch there were no flies, bees, or wasps, but the wasps came out at dinner. I mean thousands. Staff tried burning coffee on the tables to keep them away, but it didn’t work. I don’t know how guests at the à la carte restaurant managed, since their tables are among the trees. I saw a few young women crying because they’d wanted a romantic evening with their partners and the little yellow and black beetles spoiled it. We ate in the air-conditioned games room, where the wasps didn’t come in. There were no bees and very few flies. Some reviews mentioned lots of flies and bees, but wasps eat them, so they stay away. This is a great resort for families or couples. The negative reviews are rubbish, and I think people who write bad reviews complain about everything, or perhaps they’re connected to other hotels or resorts and want to give Olymos Health Resort a bad name. Apart from the wasps at this time of year, it’s a nice place to stay.

The mountain views were lovely, even romantic in some spots. I also want to thank Ms. Seda, who was helpful and positive. But honestly, I won’t recommend the hotel. At check-in, the first room seemed much smaller than described. It was supposed to be 60 m², but I think it was maybe 25 m². The room descriptions and photos didn’t match. We got a somewhat bigger room with a balcony, but it was still in poor condition. In seven days, we had one proper cleaning, when towels were changed and the minibar refilled. On the other days, they mopped a little and took out the trash, nothing more. The snackbar needs work. The burger was dry, the cocktails were bad, and the gin and tonic seemed to be made with vodka and water. We got a Malibu cocktail on the fifth day, not sure what happened there. We smelled sewage several times in the restaurant area where breakfast, lunch, and dinner were served, which put us off our food. Wi-Fi was very weak, and when it did work, it lasted maybe an hour or two. The hotel doesn’t own the beach, but rents it. The deck chairs there were in poor shape, actually broken. Beach transfers weren’t hourly: they ran around 9-9:30, 12-12:30, and 16-16:30. For a transfer to a big city, be ready to pay about 80-100 dollars.
