The quiet setting and location were lovely, but I don’t think we’ll return. We thought they seemed like nice people, yet we didn’t feel any real warmth. On arrival, we went to get the key and ask about meal times. We’re used to being welcomed in and offered water, and it felt odd that this didn’t happen. It would’ve been nice to talk and get to know each other. Even after we sent the receipt, nobody said thanks, which struck us as strange. The food was mostly fine for us. Breakfast was Turkish fried dough for the first two days, then gözleme (Turkish flatbread) and other items on the third. The first dinner was a carb-heavy spread of ravioli, minced meat pasta, and stuffed peppers; we felt it needed some protein. The next night’s minced meat and eggplant dish, yogurt-based meze, rice, and lentil soup caused no issue, nor did the final dinner of fish, potatoes, soup, and salad. The worst thing was the spider web in our room, which I’m including a photo of. The room looked clean, but was very dusty, and we wiped down all the bedside tables ourselves. It was really unpleasant. The bathroom hand soap had run out. We didn’t ask for more because we thought it should have been checked before our arrival, so we bought some. I hope they take these complaints and shortcomings into account. We’re sharing what happened for anyone planning a visit.

I stayed in several places around Antalya on this holiday, and this was where I got the warmest, most wonderful service. The staff are a family, and the quality of care is genuinely high. The room was clean, and the food was far better than I expected. The pool at Olympos is a whole experience of its own.

My partner and I stayed one night. It’s a peaceful spot about 2km from Olimpos, with very comfortable rooms, delicious lunch, and really friendly, attentive staff. There were lots of kittens too, all cared for very well. If you want somewhere quiet and charming, this place fits.

We went on friends’ recommendation for our holiday this year and were very pleased. The family-run feel makes you feel at home. They cook the food themselves and serve breakfast and dinner, both delicious and reliable. There’s a pool as well, and the calm waters at nearby Olimpos and Adrasan beaches are lovely.

We found Simar Pension by chance through Google reviews after cancelling our stay at a terrible 5-star hotel near Olympos because we were so unhappy there. Simar Pension gave us three days of pure enjoyment. The rooms were spotless, the atmosphere delightful, and the food fantastic. They’ve thought of every detail for guests. We loved the place and the family who run it, especially Hatice, Kübra, and Simge, who were so warm and lovely to talk with. I wanted to write this as soon as we got back. I can’t express how wonderful it was, and I highly recommend going. You won’t regret it. Can’t wait to see you again! Lots of love ♥️♥️ ♥️
