We booked villa number 9 for four days last week, and I wouldn't recommend this place to families. There was no hot water. They said something had broken and a repairman could come in the morning, but I didn't want repairs happening during our holiday. All three toilets were out of order, so we had to use buckets of water to clean them. They moved us to the villa next door, where two of its three toilets were broken as well. The mosquito nets were torn, the upstairs rooms had no sunshades, and the pool ladder felt unsafe. There were pool chemicals at the bottom of the pool, which would be ridiculous if children were staying there. We had no children, but the chlorine level was still far too high, as if it was being added at random. The villas are very close together. Three or four thugs in the neighboring villa swore and played music loudly, disturbing us as late as 2 AM.

The houses were very clean, with good furniture and kitchenware, and the pool was adequate. The village center is close enough to walk to, though you'll need a car to get to the market. Luckily, Migros online market delivers. For a peaceful, secluded family holiday, this seems like a good option, especially during the pandemic. For a beach day, I'd suggest Güzemçamlı beach. It has a long, wide stretch of sand and crystal-clear water, and was much quieter than the other beaches nearby. The national park is another choice.

We came back after a very satisfying stay in 2020, when the place was newly opened and in its first season. This time we stayed four nights between July 26-28, 2023, and the service seemed to have fallen badly. I plan to share photos of what happened. Some of the problems were serious. A door frame nearly fell on my three-year-old daughter, and we had to react at the last moment. A bedside table with a broken leg had been propped against the wall and was barely standing. The mosquito nets had large tears, and we woke up with earwigs on us. Shower heads didn't work. The Wi-Fi was practically useless, not even 1 Mbps, while mobile data was very weak there on both my Turkcell and Vodafone lines. We spent much of our time by the pool and outside the kitchen, where bees were building a honeycomb in plain sight. From its condition, it looked like they'd been there at least 15 days. We could only relax when the bees gave us a chance. Our freezer also broke after we put frozen food in it and other food in the fridge. Four hours later, the frozen items had thawed and the fridge contents were warmer than the outdoor temperature. They brought a replacement after some more waiting, but it took a day to cool properly because of how it was transported. We couldn't even have cold water for half the holiday. The broken freezer was left in the garden, and the next day a technician arrived without warning and tried to inspect and repair it in what we understood to be our private area. The air conditioners seemed never to have been serviced. Even with the fan on high at 18, we were sweating. Pets were supposedly not allowed, but there were animals at the neighboring villa and four dog kennels with four dogs outside ours. I'm an animal lover, but the dogs barked all night until morning and kept waking our child. From 9 PM to 11:30 PM, there were also loud, rude shouts and other noises from neighboring villas. Reception said they couldn't do anything when we called. During a guest change, we found an earring and an upright screw in the pool, which made it seem that it wasn't checked or cleaned regularly. We came to relax and have fun, but left tired and even more stressed. I absolutely wouldn't recommend it.

We'd enjoyed our 2020 visit, when everything seemed to follow the rules. Three years later, this was our last stay. The place felt badly neglected, with broken mosquito nets and window frames falling in the rooms. We were a family with a baby, and the noise at night was a serious problem. Dogs barked constantly through the night. There were five mixed-breed dogs to keep wild boars away, despite the contract saying no pets. When we asked about people entering pools or playing loud music before midnight, we were told there was no system for warning anyone. Our baby went to sleep after 9 PM, so the noise made it hard for us. On arrival, staff found the refrigerator was broken and brought another after checking it. By then, much of our frozen food had thawed and was lost before the replacement got cold. Staff also came into what we consider a private area without notice to fix a garden cabinet. They left only after we objected, and took the cabinet outside. There were lots of bees, which is normal, but finding a beehive on the veranda shocked us. They say guests can enter the villa until 3 PM because of a four-hour cleaning window, but that seemed to be just for show. If you're expecting peace and quiet, forget it. I hope this feedback helps them take steps so other guests don't have the same experience. Best regards.
