The service team were kind, especially Fillip, who was really attentive. The hotel was well equipped and conveniently located near downtown and the harbors. I’d recommend staying here.

The room on the ground floor near room 101, beside the kitchen, was extremely noisy. I asked to move and would advise avoiding those rooms, since food preparation starts early and can wake you. The room assignment system was a little confusing, and there’s no laundry service. The hotel is close to the city’s main attractions, but parking is a real problem. Although the hotel says it has parking, the space is difficult to use, and there isn’t proper free parking. Finding a spot nearby is hard, as it is around the city generally. Breakfast was a letdown too. There isn’t much variety, and arriving just half an hour later may mean most of the food is gone. Tea runs out quickly, and the buffet doesn’t feel like the generous Turkish breakfast you’d expect. For the price, it seems fair. The hotel doesn’t claim to offer luxury, but personally I wouldn’t stay here again.

The reception team were fairly nice and helpful, but we didn’t enjoy the service overall. Our first room had a horrible smell, so we had to request a move. Rooms weren’t cleaned daily, and the towels and bedding were stained, old and worn. The rooms are dated, and the bathrooms weren’t very clean. The pictures give a misleading impression. The pool area looked so old and run down that we didn’t want to use it, even in the heat. The hotel needs maintenance.

There’s lots of character and originality here, and the place is clean. The bed was really comfortable, the TV was large, the bathroom super clean, and the staff very nice. Breakfast was a simple but complete traditional Turkish buffet. I took photos of the hotel two weeks ago because it looked awesome, and now I’ve been lucky enough to stay the night. I’d come back.
