Clean place in the city center, with friendly and helpful people.

I came back in 5/2026, so I'm updating what I wrote before. I signed a one-year lease starting 10/2023 after finding the place on Sahibinden, a Turkish real estate site. Paying the full year's rent upfront and signing the contract went smoothly. The location is excellent, and Salman is kind, speaks English, and is dependable. He runs a tour company too. My room is on the 3rd floor, with an elevator and security cameras, and I like the room itself. The kitchen, shower room, and washing machine are old and not very good, though. WiFi is slow and unstable, but still usable. I pay the water bill to the owner; electricity requires setting up an account with the power company, which is a bit of a hassle, but the owner comes along. For the gas stove, you call the propane company, they deliver a cylinder, and you pay when it arrives. Laundry can be dried on the roof, which has a pleasant view of Kusadasi. I've made a lot of memories in this room. The rent rises each year, but I still find it reasonable. I recommend it. When I stopped by to say hello after a long time, they gave me some soup.

It's a pleasant place right in the center. If you're after an affordable option, you could stay here.
