The View City Hotel

They cleaned the room with great care and attention, taking the Corona situation into account. The staff were very courteous, greeted us smiling, and even carried our luggage from the car to the room. Their service was top-notch.

Disgusting, plain and simple. The toilet doesn't work, there's no hot water, and cleanliness is nonexistent. The place looks nothing like the photos or even the exterior, and I'm amazed by the positive reviews.

My husband and I stayed for four days. We asked for the room to be cleaned every day and kept having to remind them, but nobody ever came. Such an indifferent place. The elevator keeps breaking down, so think about that before you come.

The staff were reserved but friendly, and the port and sea view from outside is lovely. Still, the hotel looks much better on the outside than it is inside. Breakfast wasn't much to look forward to, and dinner was a little better but nothing special. The rooms are the worst part, old and worn, with sagging mattresses and decor badly in need of an update. In the bathrooms, hot water doesn't always work and things are dilapidated or broken. It was relatively clean, but the condition made everything feel dirty. The rooftop is pleasant for sunbathing, though the pool is tiny, more like a paddling pool. We heard the hotel might close. I hope it does, unless it gets a major renovation.
