Ephesus, Zeus Cave, Kuşadası and Güzelçamlı National Park were all within a 15 to 60 minute drive. The villa itself was a short walk from the sea, as advertised, and the beach and water were clean. We stayed for 10 days. It was spacious and could easily fit 6-8 people.
Emry Beach has a beautiful stretch of coast, right by the water. But breaking up the stones was a bad idea and has made the sea dangerous. Since it's a public beach, the municipality doesn't allow sun loungers either, so there's no satisfaction at all.
We went in September and the water was extremely choppy, so I wouldn't recommend going then. Also, the Alinda site in Soğucak looks nothing like the historical photos being shared.
The district governor's office took away the sunbeds and umbrellas, and the place is now empty and full of slums, like Kerbela. It used to be a beautiful beach, with the site hiring people to keep it clean. Turning it into a public beach has made it feel like a slum.
