Seyirtepe Butik Otel & Restaurant

The view over the valley is fantastic, and there’s a warm indoor place to eat and relax when it’s cold. The hotel is just a short walk uphill from the town centre, so it’s easy to try the other restaurants too. The staff were so welcoming, and we had lots of nice conversations with them. Food was available whenever we wanted it, and it was really good, especially the sütlaç (rice pudding) and menemen. When my partner was sick, they even made her a heart-shaped serving of rice. Our only gripe was the hard mattress paired with soft pillows. We’d stay here again.

Breakfast was wonderful, and we loved the scenery and the place itself. Brother Muhammad and his generous family made us feel the warmth and comfort of being with family. I’ve never felt so at ease in a place before. Leaving felt like stepping away from home. The brother was very helpful, and God willing, we’ll come back. Thank you, brother Muhammad. It’s a lovely hotel and restaurant, and I can’t really describe it.

The room was a little small for the two of us, but that wasn’t a problem. The bed was super comfortable, the food and breakfast were very good, and the view was the best. Our host made us feel so welcome at this family-run hotel. We enjoyed it so much that we added another night, and we’ll definitely come back. It was the highlight of our trip.

Muhammad, the owner, was very helpful. From the room balcony, it felt like sitting in a cable car, with the clouds close enough to touch. The view across Hamsikoy is incredible, almost like the villages in Switzerland, and the summer weather is lovely.
