We had a wonderful holiday here. The beach, with its own loungers and the beach bar right beside it, was great. The waiters made very good cocktails with proper proportions. The building is new and impressive, the rooms are large, and the beds are very comfortable. The food was mixed. Each meal had some tasty things and some really bad ones, though we always found something we liked, especially at lunch and dinner if we weren’t too picky. There was never freshly ground coffee, only Jacobs instant machines. Breakfast was disappointing for a German palate, with poor sausage and just one kind of sliced cheese, cut into six varieties and placed on six plates to make it look like a bigger selection. It tasted terribly bland. We stayed a week and never saw more choice. If you like cheese, this may not be for you. The busy street next door was quite noisy at night, which could be an issue for light sleepers if their room is on the wrong side. The air conditioning switched off at midnight, so nights felt very warm. Defne Defnem is a rather low-end five-star hotel, and how satisfied you are probably depends on your past five-star stays and expectations. It does cost less than other five-star hotels.

We had an amazing holiday. The hotel and beach were very clean, the beach bar team were lovely, and the beach bed was perfect. There were plenty of food options, even for picky eaters. The Wi-Fi didn’t work in the rooms, which made my stay uncomfortable because I had to spend a lot of money on data in my country. Special thanks to the Reception Team and Erkan, who was absolutely amazing and made our stay memorable!😍

The balcony was a highlight, it was large and had a nice view. We visited in May 2024, just as the summer season was starting, so the hotel was still quiet. The place is huge and gorgeous, with two pools, water slides, a golf course and a tennis court. Our room was bright, fresh and cleaned every day. The staff were helpful, the pools were spacious, the food was fine, and the free internet was fast. We did miss having shampoo, shower gel, bathrobes or a kettle in the room. Still, we came away with excellent impressions.

We loved the friendly atmosphere here. The staff were really nice, the hotel was clean, and there was a good range of delicious food. We stayed for a week and had a great holiday. I’d recommend it!

The meals were very good, with lots of salads, desserts and different meats. The rooms were clean and had air conditioning. The weak Wi-Fi was frustrating, and there could have been more snacks during the day. In August the pool water was over 30 degrees. It would also be better if the pool stayed open until 8 p.m. and the slides ran for four hours a day instead of the current two and a half. :-)
